Block: Block pests by using well-sealed, insect-resistant storage cabinets and containers.
Detect: Provide easy access between cabinets and between artifacts. Use appropriate traps.
Respond: Design cabinets for easy cleaning. Stock pest control equipment (e.g., freezer, controlled atmosphere chamber, polyethylene bags, traps).
Recover/Treat: Provide conservation laboratory equipment to treat damaged artifacts.
