Water - Portable Fittings - Display
Avoid: Avoid displaying artifacts within 10 cm of the floor.
Block: Block water by using water-resistant display cases with tops that shed water and that will not collapse. Design light boxes to drain water away from artifacts.
Detect: Detect water by using water detectors connected to a central annunciator panel.
Respond: Stock clean-up equipment (e.g., pumps, mops, wet vacuum cleaner).
Recover/Treat: Provide fans, drying racks, and other equipment to treat damaged artifacts.
