Jan Vuori graduated from the Master of Art Conservation program at Queen's University in 1981. She interned at the Royal Ontario Museum, worked as a volunteer textile conservator at the University of British Columbia's Museum of Anthropology, and spent five summers working at various museums across Canada with CCI's Mobile Laboratory Programme. Since 1981 she has worked on textiles at CCI, primarily in the Textile Laboratory but also in the Archaeology and Ethnology Laboratories. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Conservators.
