Archaeological Services – Conservation Treatment

Description:
CCI undertakes conservation and restoration treatments of archaeological objects to retard further deterioration, aid interpretation, or re-establish culturally significant qualities. Treatments can range from minimal stabilization to extensive restoration or reconstruction. See CCI's Conservation and Scientific Services for Archaeology brochure for additional information.

Pre-excavation treatment requests are to secure CCI resources to treat objects that may be found during excavations. These services may be required to obtain excavation permits and/or to ensure objects are accepted for treatment in the same fiscal year.

Post-excavation treatment requests are to secure CCI resources to treat specific objects that have already been excavated.
